We are a community centre serving the local community within the West of Gateshead particularly Ryton, Crawcrook, Clara Vale, Greenside and Stella.
Offering a wide program of classes and activities for all ages including Art & Craft Classes, Exercise & Dance Classes, Youth Club, Friendship Group, Music & History Clubs, Age UK and much more.
The aim of Barmoor Hub is to maintain and develop the centre for our local community, ensuring a safe and well maintained building, where they can meet for a coffee, take part in the variety of activities on offer for all ages, benefitting them both mentally and physically.
Our running costs are approx. £25,000 per year, we are responsible for these costs as a Charity, the this money is raised though room hire fees, our regular fundraising events and grant funding from various sources.
